 | Every cover and it's drive system are custom-designed and adapted for each pool and frequently integrated into the design of a new pool before construction. Ocea® covers provide important benefits to the pool owner: HEAT SAVINGS Approximately 85% of all heat loss occurs through evaporation: an Ocea® cover can greatly reduce this loss. Ocea®covers are used equally for indoor and outdoor pools. Aqua Technology produces solar heating covers for outdoor pools - which capture the sun's energy, transferring heat to raise the water temperature by several degrees on a fine day. CHEMICAL SAVINGS The cover reduces consumption (and therefore, cost) of pool chemical additives due to minimizing evaporation and contamination of the water by organic garden debris. FACILITY The cover is operated electronically by the turn of a key. SAFETY The slatted cover is not considered to be a safety cover, however, through buoyancy it will support, for example, the weight of a domestic pet animal. Designing a safety ledge or handrails into the pool can enhance the safety factor.
